As I just started this blog, I'm really tempted to ask this question. Please I would like to have your opinion guys, about what you know so far about the "mother land". Don't do any research before answering. As a group or class, I just want to know the knowledge on that matter between college students and people that I meet every day.
It's a topic that really matters to me. As an African immigrant, I'm often stereotyped about my origin, and I'm too often shocked by what people know or think they know about my continent.
What do you think about Africa and Africans?
Because they don't know the history all they do is judge, but don't know anything!
ReplyDeleteWell to star with, my opinion is somewhat shallow. All I can truly say about Africa is that is located south of the United States of America. I haven't done any studying on the continent but I am under the impression that it's people are or were divided even to the point of war.
ReplyDeleteYou ask, what one thinks of Africa and Africans. I've never been there but what I've seen on television leads me to think of it as a beautiful place. As far as its people, so far as I'm concerned a person should be held accountable by his or her's own deeds, good or bad. As for you personally, I think you're cool.
