How come two people who once were in love, got married, had children together and a history, can find themselves hating each other? I keep seeing on the news that people kill their mate for any kind of reasons. It could be jealousy or finances or just because they found someone else.
Why? Why because you stoped loving someone, not just separate or get a divorce?!!!Not being together is not always a failure! Some people are better friends than lovers after realizing it wasn't work out. Better parents for their kids after separating. It's unfortunate that relationships don't work, but it's worst when people hate each other just because it didn't wort out. Life is too short to hate someone! Even when they did you wrong, which them the best and move on. There are so many things to worry about. I don't have time for hate. I might be mad, but I think God every day to give me the strength to never hate anyone. I don't know anybody that I hate. I just chose to turn my back when I feel that things don't work out in any relationship. I wish you the best, but I got to go!
Even when I'm hurt, there is no one on this earth who deserves my hate. After a while, you'll be laughing at it saying " what the hell was I thinking?". You will find so much better than what you thought you had.
When I forgive I feel so much better! I focus better on things that actually matter to me. Such as my kids, school, family and real friends. You can't keep focusing on what you don't have any control. Focus on what you can make better, over wise, you'll be losing everything. So don't hate. You don't need to love everybody, but hate is a lost of time and energy, the most important things you'll need to put on the positive in your live. Don't waste them! They are rare these days! And remember, " every star needs darkness to shine".

Technology
I know we have a paper on technology. But I couldn't help but blogging about it. How it is so prevalent in our every day's lives! How it is a great tool, and have any types of devices to makes our lives a little bit easy. We can communicate with any one across the globe, shopping, banking or just surfing on the web for any kind of reasons.
As revolutionary it can be, it brought us any types of inconvenient. Particularly how humans handle relationships. I regularly watch that show called "cat fish" on M TV, and I'm so amazed to see people being so naive. Every body could be who they want behind that screen. Most of the time they are never who they said they were. People on that show had relationships for years and were really committed! Even sending money to their supposed partner. The more technology evolves the more the other person takes some steps back when they realize they can't Skype with their victims. It's only at this time that they realize that something is odd!
I don't know if I can be that much involved with any one over the internet!! I need more than a virtual relationship to call some one my boyfriend. How could I feel closed to someone without ever touching them? Smelling them? Without any physical interaction? Nor even seeing them? Regardless the awareness on the matter, no matter how often we see stuffs on TV, some people are still so vulnerable to find that one person who will love them unconditionally that they are disconnected from reality and the world that surrounds them.
It's really sad and unfortunate to know that there are still people who take advantage of others thought the internet. We have to aware our kids on that matter because they are still really innocent and naive. With social media, they meet any kinds of people every day and they have no way to know the real intentions of the other person.

Can we love more than one time ?
I know everyone has an idea of what love is. I'm sure every one already at least loved once. But most of the time we don't spend our lives with that person. Lucky are the persons who can say today that they married their first love or the love of their life. But often times it doesn't end up this way!
Many people say they are in love so many times with different persons! I wonder if they know the difference between having just a big crush or just be attracted to someone and love. I mean real LOVE!! The kind of love that keeps you up all night, that makes you feel any type of ways. The kind of love that makes you want to be pretty every day, the one that makes you want to share that last piece of steak that you always refused to share with anyone before, but you feel so easy, almost natural to give to someone now!!!
To me, it's not always feeling that way for one person because, I felt this way so many times toward different persons, but the key is how long does it last? This is the question!!
You only feel this way for so long toward only one individual during a lifetime. And no matter what you might feel for someone else later one, or how many times, it will never be the same.
However, if you are lucky enough to still be with that person, or if you still have any chance to be with that person, please give yourself a favor and cherish it every day that you have on earth.
For whom who didn't have the blessing to still be with the special one. Don 't be sad. The biggest consolation is knowing that you, at least had the chance to know that very rare individual. And spend the rest of your remembering how beautiful and unique to encounter it in a life time. I know many people, way older than me, who never met that special person. And because they don't really pay attention to their own feelings the probably passed by it without never realizing it was just before them!

When it's time, it's time.
Hey every one!
I just want to talk about something that I keep observing about going to or going back to school. I keep seeing people around me, especially at school, going to school just because. I think the decision to be educated it's something that we have to think really carefully before to take that step. Many people are not ready emotionally and physically and don't take the time to fixe their personal life to make it possible.
I see people coming to school half of the time, or when they come, it's only for one hour or so or always come late for class. And the funny thing is that they end up blaming the teacher for their grades.
I know life happens. I know we all are adults with family situations and financial challenges. But I know, as bumps on the road, they are the very things that will make us appreciate more our accomplishment.
If you don't feel ready to go to school, I advice every one not to. It took me years before I decided to go back to school. And it's a personal decision that has nothing to do with me proving anything to anyone but myself. I had to be ready emotionally and put everything together in order to make it work for me and for my family.
There is nothing wrong with waiting until you feel ready to take that step. Remember we are paying for our education. So we should take the best and the most of it., not just obtaining a Degree!

Why people are so ignorant about Africa?
As I just started this blog, I'm really tempted to ask this question. Please I would like to have your opinion guys, about what you know so far about the "mother land". Don't do any research before answering. As a group or class, I just want to know the knowledge on that matter between college students and people that I meet every day.
It's a topic that really matters to me. As an African immigrant, I'm often stereotyped about my origin, and I'm too often shocked by what people know or think they know about my continent.
